FOR TRADITIONAL WATERCOLOUR PAINTING:
PAINTS – Artists quality tubes – Schmincke, Art Spectrum, Winsor & Newton or Daniel Smith.

BEGINNER’S TUBES
1. Ultramarine Blue (series 1)
2. Alizarin Crimson (series 1)
3. Lemon Yellow (series 1)
4. Yellow Ochre (series 1)
5. Burnt Sienna (series 1)
6. Cobalt Blue (series 4)

ADDITIONAL TUBES
1. Cerulean Blue (series 4)
2. Pyrrole Red (series 4)
3. Quinacridone Gold (series 3)
4. Cobalt Turquoise (series 4)
5. Burnt Umber (series 1)
6. Neutral Tint (series 1)
Designers Gouache Permanent White
Waterproof Ink - Black or Sepia

PAPER – Watercolour Paper 300 gsm sheet (cut into quarters) Arches, Saunders, Montval or Bockingford (medium texture surface or rough)

BRUSHES – Soft Watercolour Brushes
1 – Medium Round size 6 or 8
1 – Rigger size 2 or 4

PALETTE – With enough place for individua colours and mixing (l id preferred)
PENCILS – 2B or 3B, soft eraser
WATER JAR, TISSUES and old towel.

(AND/OR) FOR SKETCHBOOKING – COMPACT KIT: Artline water resistant
black pen 0.5
Water soluble graphite stick
Watercolour pencils – or
Inktense pencil – Sepia, Yellow Ochre, Indigo Blue or Black A5
Moleskine or Hardcover landscape format sketchbook/journal
Watercolour pan set OR tubes/palette if you have them
