T1 Pastel Drawing – Toy Portraits
Ages 7 to 12 - with Leanne Bray; 9.30am-12.30pm
Course Description
Please note $10 material fee is NOT included in the course cost. Everyone has a favourite cuddly soft toy - and pastels are a wonderful medium to do a portrait of your fury friend. Working with chalk pastels on coloured backgrounds - Leanne will teach a little about the drawing process of traditional pastel application. Working from dark to light she will share the beginnings of a favourite medium that is perfect to create soft and evocative cuddly critters. Please bring your favourite cuddly fury friend to pose for you! About your tutor: Leanne is a multidisciplined artist, who has worked full time for nearly 40 years as an art professional. Using her original strengths as a Graphic Designer and illustrator, she has drawn on the combination of strong technical background and sound conceptual development, combining it to create the flexibility, passion and professionalism that lends itself to a wide range of artistic adventures. What to bring: Drink and Snack Wear suitable clothing for doing artwork. Material fee: $10, paid in cash to the tutor, and will include all materials needed to complete the workshop.

Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
