Revise and deepen your understanding of, and ability to use, Italian including all its tenses and moods in both oral and written contexts. Designed to follow Italian – Intermediate or equivalent. Your Tutor: Ughetta Nolli Ughetta was born and educated in Italy where she graduated at the University of Pavia. She was a French and English teacher in Italy and has been teaching Italian since arriving in Australia. She also works as an interpreter and translator. About the Course This course is designed for students who have completed four terms of each: Italian Absolute Beginners, Italian Beginners Continued, and Italian Intermediate (or equivalent). It aims to revise and deepen your understanding of and ability to use Italian, including all its tenses and moods, in the four areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Classes are structured using a variety of activities. For those with minimum 100 hours prior knowledge of Italian. There is an emphasis on the spoken language. Students will also learn all the relevant grammar structures, read and discuss texts, and do written tasks at home. What you need to bring Pen, paper, and any handouts to all classes. Students should have access to an Italian - English dictionary. Course Materials Photocopies 20 cents each.
Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is canceled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
