Course Description

$10 material fee is payable to the Tutor. Learn basic hand-building ceramic techniques to create your own leaf-shaped or flower pressed trinket dishes to take home. Students will work with air dry clay so the finished work will not need to be fired. We will also explore decorative techniques for adding texture and colour to the clay pieces. About the tutor: Jessica Cottam holds a BA in Fine Arts and History of Art (UWA). An avid crafter from a young age, Jessica has explored a wide range of art media and is always seeking to experiment with something new. She is passionate about art and is enthusiastic about sharing the joy of creating with others. She enjoys sparking creativity in children and working with them to explore new possibilities. What to bring: Drink and Snack. Wear suitable clothing for doing artwork.

Terms and Conditions

A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is canceled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
