Course Description
$10 material fee, please bring in cash to pay to your tutor on the day. Children will learn sculpting techniques to create their own unique necklace designs. They will learn how to shape, layer, and add fine details to their creations before assembling them into wearable art. They will create pendants, charms, and/or beads to create their jewellery piece. Finished necklaces will be baked and assembled on the day, ready to take home at the end of the session. About your Tutor: Imogen is a 2nd year Zoology major at UWA. Originally from Margaret River but have moved to Perth to study at UWA. Imogen has a strong interest in both environmental science and art, and always had an art project on the go, such as painting, drawing, crochet, ceramics, etc. Imogen is passionate about education and working with children, having trained as a swimming teacher earlier this year and has been passionate in the arts field since completing her Certificate IV in Visual Arts. What you need to bring Please wear old clothes/apron. Drink Wear suitable clothing for doing artwork.
Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
