Course Description
Please note $10 material fee is NOT included in the course cost. Discover the world of watercolours! Learn how to use watercolour techniques to create beautiful sea creatures like whales, dolphins and turtles. We will try different painting techniques, including wet on wet and dry on wet, and use materials such as stencils to create layers in your compositions. Emphasis is on fun and creativity, while learning art skills. About your tutor: Rhonda has over 20 years of experience as an artist; in drawing, painting, photography, sculpture and printmaking. She’s been working with children in many different educational programs for over 15 years. Rhonda enjoys teaching art and the specific skills required in various mediums and then allowing students to experiment and explore the techniques and use their creativity to complete their artwork. What to bring: Drink and Snack Wear suitable clothing for doing artwork. Material fee: $10, paid in cash to tutor and will include all materials needed to complete the workshop.
Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
