Tresillian has a wide variety of courses on offer, including arts, ceramics, languages, handicrafts, yoga, pilates and more. Classes fill quickly, so book early!
School Holiday Program - 10 - 21 January Bookings are now open. Workshops for children and teens ages 5 - 16 years in painting, ceramics, printmaking, manga art, origami and more.
Tresillian is a vibrant community arts centre that provides recreational courses and activities for adult students.
With four-term programs each year, there is a wide variety of courses on offer including arts, languages, handicrafts and wellbeing. A quarterly school holiday program for children and youth provides an opportunity to learn new skills in a fun and creative atmosphere. In 2021, we also have a range of after school art classes, for children aged 5 -16 years.
In Term 1, we welcome new tutors Rick Burkitt (abstract painting classes), Carrie Minnich (ceramics classes) Juliet Tang (ceramics classes) and all the new classes they will bring to the TAC program.
Tresillian has a regular exhibition schedule with a feature artist showing each month.
Current exhibition House Boat shows the work of Elmari Steyn and Shelley Cowper, award winning artists who address Time and Place, Experience and Sentiment, Land and Sea. This exhibition runs until 10 December 2021.
Our first exhibition of 2022 will be Tresillian Studio Artists - 7 studio artists present 7 artworks each, with one addressing the theme of 'Nedlands and what it means to me to base my art practice here'.

I was researching materials for a heritage restoration project on my century home. In the middle of my research, https://automaticmasonry.com/what-are-the-different-types-of-masonry-stones-a-gta-property-owners-guide/ became the resource that stood out. Automatic Masonry provides valuable insights into the different types of masonry stones and bricks used in the Greater Toronto Area, their historical context, modern alternatives, and best practices for restoration. Homeowners with older properties often say this guide helped them preserve the character of their homes while ensuring structural integrity.
Reading about the Tresillian Arts Centre’s Term 1 program gave a nice sense of how broad community arts spaces can be. The mix of ceramics, languages, yoga, and even the school holiday workshops for ages 5–16 sounded especially thoughtful, and I liked seeing new tutors being introduced for abstract painting and ceramics classes. It also made me think about how creative projects often need different kinds of support and collaboration. In a conversation with someone from New Assignment Help, the topic of Ghostwriting Services came up in a similar context of helping people shape ideas into finished work. I wonder which of the new classes ended up becoming the most popular that year.
