Course Description
Yoga is the perfect way to develop a strong mind and body. Achieve balance and flexibility through the practice of postures, breath awareness, meditation and relaxation. Suitable for beginners and continuing students. About the Tutor Michelle has been practicing yoga for 38 years. She obtained her formal instructor's qualifications through FINY and has been teaching classes around Perth for 23 years. About the Course The yoga class commences with a short relaxation and breathing awareness. This is followed by warm ups, stretching and limbering for the practice of more challenging postures. The class sometimes includes meditation and finishes with a 10 - minute deep relaxation session. What you need to bring Wear loose comfortable clothing A blanket, towel or mat to lie on Drinking water A cushion or blanket to roll up to sit on and raise the hips Bring an extra blanket in winter to keep warm during relaxation

A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
