Course Description
$45 material fee Kids create fun clay sculptures over 8 sessions, inspired by the Australian 12 Days of Christmas Come all ready to explore ceramics on the pottery wheel! Techniques will include throwing, trimming and glazing to form cups, cylinders, bowls, and more! Other sessions during this class will experiment with surface techniques. The students’ final work will be bisqued and glazed fired; ready to take home and use/admire. About Tutor: Ana is a multidisciplinary artist with over 25 years’ experience across ceramics, fashion, and design. With advanced diplomas in visual art and product design, she has exhibited in multiple galleries. Ana is passionate about inspiring creativity in children, guiding them to develop new skills and explore their imaginations through the expressive, tactile medium of clay. What to Bring: Please wear old clothes/apron Old towel Personal clay tools - optional Journal and pencil Ideas, creativity, positive attitude MATERIALS Fee paid direct to tutor The cost to each student will be $45 and will include: Stoneware clay, Some tools and equipment are supplied. Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
