Course Description

Italian Course – Continuing Beginners (A1) This course is ideal for students who have already covered the very basics of Italian. So far, students have learned how to greet and introduce themselves, say where they are from, spell words, use basic present tense verbs such as essere and chiamarsi, order in cafés and restaurants, ask for prices, and use essential vocabulary including food, numbers, and polite expressions. They have also worked with singular and plural nouns and basic articles. In the upcoming term, we will expand into talking about other people, daily routines, age, work, and days of the week, while learning more present tense forms, including common irregular verbs. Depending on the group’s needs, we will either begin new topics such as free time and interests or consolidate and strengthen key foundations. A friendly, supportive class focused on building real speaking confidence at a comfortable pace. WHAT STUDENTS NEED TO BRING Pen, paper, and any handouts to all classes.
