Course Description
Material Fee $65 paid to the tutor at the first class. Young artists are exposed to various art materials and art forms, including drawing, painting, printmaking and collage. Emphasis is on supporting young artists to be creative and confident while learning different art skills. New topics are introduced each term. Note: 6 sessions for Term 2, starting 9 May About the Course: Have fun exploring a range of subject matter and techniques with a focus on developing technical skills, learning to understand and use the elements of design and growing our individual creativity. Rhonda is an enthusiastic and supportive artist who encourages kids to explore and discover through experimentation and creative learning. She will introduce the children to a variety of art processes, with a focus on developing knowledge, problem-solving and instinct. Learn from a passionate artist in a nurturing and creative environment. About the tutor: Rhonda has over 20 years of experience as an artist; in drawing, painting, photography, sculpture and printmaking. She’s been working with children in many different educational programs for over 15 years as well. Rhonda enjoys teaching art and the specific skills required in various mediums and then allowing students to experiment and explore the techniques and use their own creativity to complete their artwork. Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
