Course Description
$65 + $10 material fee Please bring $10 material fee in cash to pay to tutor on the day. Create a canvas painting in the style of Keith Haring. Step into the world of pop art and street culture with this dynamic painting workshop inspired by the legendary artist Keith Haring. In this class, participants will create a canvas painting that captures Haring’s signature style—bold outlines, vibrant colors, and energetic figures— using acrylic paints and posca pens About the tutor: Hazel has taught art to children in after school classes over many years, as well as being a cover teacher at secondary/high school where she taught teens. Hazel completed a degree in fine arts (1987) and has since enjoyed painting whenever she could find pockets of time whilst raising her family. She is inspired by the vibrant colours and forms of nature and enjoys creating in mixed media such as acrylics, water colours and inks, colour pencils and charcoal. When she is not painting, she enjoys yoga, walking, paddle boarding and spending time with her family. What you need to bring: Please wear old clothes/apron. Drink and snack Wear suitable clothing for doing artwork.

Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
