Course Description
Italian Course – Talking About the Past (Elementary Level) This 8-week course is perfect for students who already feel comfortable using the present tense and want to take the next step in their Italian journey. So far, students have learned how to introduce themselves, talk about daily life and free time, order in cafés and restaurants, describe people and cities, give directions, speak about travel and hotel situations, and use essential grammar such as articles, prepositions, modal verbs, and common irregular verbs in the present tense. In this new term, we’ll begin talking about the past. You’ll learn how to describe your weekend, share travel experiences, and talk about holidays using the passato prossimo. We’ll work with regular and irregular forms, practise choosing between essere and avere, and build confidence through conversation and real-life situations. A supportive, relaxed class designed to help you speak more naturally and confidently. WHAT STUDENTS NEED TO BRING Pen, paper, and any handouts to all classes. Students should have access to an Italian - English dictionary Your Tutor: Evana Tanner Material Fee: $10 cash as a contribution towards photocopying for course material.

Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
