Course Description
This course is designed for students who have learned French before at beginner level. You will build on your previous knowledge and you will be continuing learning French in a friendly class focusing on speaking. Your Tutor: Nathalie Butcher I’m an experienced native speaker French teacher I have 25 years of experience in teaching languages in a wide range of situations, for all type of students and for various objectives. After teaching for many years prescribed curriculum, I have developed my own method and my own resources to offer a friendly and relaxed course using the structuro-global method based on oral; placing the emphasis on the structures, sound, intonation of the language in the same way a child learns its mother tongue without the need to dissect or excessively analyse the language. In my course, grammar is introduced appropriately whenever it helps the process of understanding and learning to speak correctly. Level 3 Classroom Teacher Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Diploma in Education–Language Master in Political Sciences Bachelor on Law and economics About the Course French Intermediate 1 : LEARNING FRENCH THROUGH SPEAKING If you have completed French beginner levels, you have a good knowledge of the French present tense with some basic vocabulary, and if you’re prepare to take the challenge to continue learning French through speaking, you’re welcome to join our friendly and relaxed class. What you need to bring Pen and Note Book Material fee: $10 cash as contribution towards photocopies used as course material

Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
