Valerie Glover

Valerie enjoys the challenge of combining theory with the practice of art, be it the thrill of captured light or the power of primary and blended colours. Valerie works in oils, acrylics and mixed media.

Val has been carrying out a professional art practice since graduating from Curtin University in 2002 with a Fine Arts degree. She uses techniques from various disciplines, including printmaking, painting, new mediums and is always challenging and extending her artistic abilities.
Val’s first solo Exhibition in 2004 was a great success, with thirty percent of sales going to Princess Margaret Hospital. Val has many times since supported various charities with her artworks.
Val has had numerous private commissions and participated in more than twenty group exhibitions. She won the City of South Perth and Town of Cambridge art prizes and has had four solo exhibitions. Her work is in public collections of the City of South Perth, Town of Cambridge, Trinity College and Princess Margaret Hospital.
