Emeritus Professor Richard Read returns in 2023 to once again share his research and insights on the art world. The first lecture of the year considers the work of Michelangelo, and the prolific nature of this Renaissance artist who was a master of painting, sculpture, architecture and more.

This lecture explores the work of Michelangelo as a multidisciplinary artist - painter, sculptor and architect. Delve deeper into the artist who's name alone sparks images in the mind of Genesis, David and Pietà.
Richard Read is Emeritus Professor and Senior Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia, Perth. He is widely published and presents art lectures in an engaging and informative way for all audiences.
