Course Description

Painting and drawing using watercolours, pastels and charcoal, this course focuses on building confidence and skill through practical exploration. Students will learn to understand the unique qualities of each medium while developing strong observational and creative thinking skills. Through guided exercises, demonstrations and individual feedback, participants will explore colour, tone, composition and expressive mark making. The aim is to encourage students to think more creatively, experiment with technique, and apply foundational principles to achieve successful artistic outcomes. Suitable for all levels. About your Tutor: ๐—œ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜‡๐—ฎ is a full time practicing artist and educator with an exhibition history spanning over forty years, his most recent being in 2023 in Singapore. His approach to his practice is highly disciplined and includes weekly figure drawing sessions and teaching commitments. Terms and Conditions

A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
