Course Description
This course is for those who want to build on their basic watercolour skills. You will develop your drawing skills and watercolour techniques and apply the same basic steps to any watercolour painting to achieve great results. You will learn the joy of working with watercolour to create lovely paintings, while continuously learning about materials and techniques. About the Tutor: Rhonda was introduced to watercolours some 20 years ago and has been on the journey it brings since. She still gets a few surprises with the medium and is constantly on the look out for new subjects. Currently Rhonda is semi-retired and wishes to pass on the love of watercolour to others. She loves bright happy colours and tends to work with transparent colours more. Rhonda is also a happy camper and loves to travel with her husband around Australia. She loves Australia’s seascapes, natural bush and flowers. Rhonda exhibits in a variety of exhibitions all year. All subjects are of interest and finding the light is always on her mind What to Bring: 2 sheets of watercolour paper Saunders Rough 300gsm – Note – it is important to buy good quality Watercolour paper as the poor quality paper will leave students feeling frustrated when learning the techniques. Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
