Course Description
Ceramics - Slab Building and Clay Imprinting $65 + $10 material fee Please bring $10 material fee in cash to pay to tutor on the day. Learn how to work with clay to build slab-built sculptural forms that are imprinted with various textural items from nature. Forms can be fun 3D ideas and/or functional items such as cups and bowls, using traditional techniques. About Tutor: Ana is a multidisciplinary artist with over 25 years’ experience across ceramics, fashion, and design. With advanced diplomas in visual art and product design, she has exhibited in multiple galleries. Ana is passionate about inspiring creativity in children, guiding them to develop new skills and explore their imaginations through the expressive, tactile medium of clay. Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
